3. BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING, CALL YOUR AGENT

Whenever a house (legally) changes hands, there will be contracts to sign. Many people, eager to get to their new home, will sign the contracts without carefully going over them and negotiating to change things they don’t like. Make sure that your Toronto real estate agent is present (if at all possible) when signing anything. They can go over the contract(s) and make sure that the right terms are included.
